Roblox offers a lot of awesome features which make users enjoy during spending time in Roblox. One of the features is customizing avatar. You are able to customize your avatar as you want. You can create an image of your avatar as you want. To support that, Roblox provide a wide variety of items that you can choose to modify your avatar.
The items include t-shirt, shirt, pants, head, leg, hands, torso, accessories, hat, necklace and many others. However, have your heard about Custom Character Creator? It is a plugin. This plugin can be used to make creating custom characters easier. You can do that by visualizing Motor6Ds which are the bones of characters. For your information, animations also use Motor6Ds and make this plugin compatible with the Animation Editor. What is Motor6D? It is an object which is used to make movable joints between two parts. It is the motor Player characters use by default to move.
If you have installed the plugin of Custom Character Creator, you are able to click it to open up the main GUI. Then, choose the model that you want to make a character with the Select Tool and hit Edit. There, you will find Bind button. What is it? It is a fancy talk for create a joint. The first part that you choose is the base part (IE the torso) and the second part is the part anchored to the first (IE limbs). If you finished in setting the first and the second part, then the joint will be created and it can be seen by using edit mode. Edit button will permit you to move the rotational anchors of joints around. If you hit it first, you can see several lines and balls. The lines are present to show you which parts are linked to each other. Then, how about the balls? They display the rotation points of the Motor6Ds. To determine which way the joint moves when you use DesiredAngle is by rotating the ball. If you move it, it will determine where the joint rotates around. If you want to see a good example of it, you have to insert a bank character model and you can find in rbxasset://fonts and then edit it. You will see that the balls are positioned exactly where the joints rotate. Release button can be used to omit joints. If you hit it, the joint visualization will be brought up. You are able to click joints to omit them. Finish button can be used to stop editing for the current model and permit you to go choose another.
This plugin is able to used to edit all things which use Motor6Ds. Those things include fast-moving motors which will not fly all over the place, cannons (slap them in the back and watch them fly) and clocks (animate the hand with a motor). So, you can try to customize your avatar by using this. If you are still confused or do not know what to do, you can watch the tutorial of how to use this plugin in Youtube.
